The Thomas Wooden Railway System is designed to grow along with kids' increasing skills, offering years of enjoyable play and new adventures around each and every bend. Thomas and his friends bring personality and fun to wooden train play. All aboard for adventure on the Island of Sodor! Good-hearted Harold brings welcome but noisy visits to the quiet Sodor landscape. For use with Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway System sets (sold separately).
Editorial Review Kindhearted but noisy, Harold the Helicopter likes to drop in on the Island of Sodor to visit his railway friends. This 4-inch sturdy wood helicopter is white with a sleek red racing stripe above his name. With a rotating propeller and plastic landing pontoons, Harold is ready for action. Based on the popular Thomas the Tank Engine series by Reverend W. Awdry and the PBS television show Shining Time Station, this flying fellow is part of the much-loved wooden railway system, which is compatible with other magnetic train sets. You can reenact all the exciting stories in the series or make up new ones. Thomas fans won't want to miss out on any of these fun, well-built railway characters. --Emilie Coulter

What's better than a train?? Why a helicopter, of course!! August 5, 2010 Sebastian Montgomery (TX) My 2 year old love Thomas and trains in general, but there is just something irresistible about aviation. Harold fulfills this need nicely, and is a good addition to your growing stable of trains. He does have quite a bit of plastic on him (the skids and rotor blades), but he's well made and has withstood some pretty crazy flights.
LOVE IT! January 19, 2010 Mrs. Katherine M. Woods (canton,n.y.) THE KIDS LOVE ALL THINGS THOMAS AND WERE REALLY EXCITED TO RECEIVE HAROLD. THEY ARE HAVING A BALL WITH HAROLD. I HAVE RESERVATIONS ABOUT THE PLASTIC HELICOPTER BLADES THOUGH. TIME WILL TELL HOW WELL THEY HOLD UP?
Another Quality Item December 28, 2009 K. Kollar (Pennsy) Harold is fun off the tracks...our 2 year old loves flying him around and then landing him back on his Thomas table. Very durable and no sharp edges to worry about, plus Harold is lightweight so you don't have to worry about dropping on toes or denting wooden floors.
Very nice addition to ANY Thomas collection... March 3, 2009 Bladen's Mommy (Memphis, TN) We have this and it is very sturdy and pretty large. It's just perfect for little hands. Not too small and not to large, and it is just adorable. My son loves spinning the blades. We've never had any problem with the blades breaking off, but my son isn't very rough with his.
